Abstract
A novel optimization based route design approach for autonomous guided vehicle transport systems is presented in this paper, followed by the analysis and implementation of an algorithm capable to provide suboptimal solutions for route planning problems in real time providing conflict-, collision- and deadlock-free navigation by design.
