Abstract

The paper proposes an agent-based approach for inter-organizational networks partners’ selection in the case of large project deliveries. Screening activities undertaken by the main contracting organization and parameters to be considered are identified, and a multi-level quantitative framework to aid the decision making process is suggested. In addition, adaptive behaviour algorithms are introduced for several agents in the model. The results of different agent behaviours are analysed through a simulation model specifically developed for this purpose.
